The Lansbury Heritage A Sunday Hotel - Canary Wharf London, London

Staying in the tower room was a unique experience over two floors, with lovely, spacious rooms but with some cleanliness issues like dirty windows obstructing the city view and stained curtains affecting sleep comfort. The hotel exudes character with its tall ceilings, making it a novelty for my wife and me. The staff, despite one minor hiccup, were attentive and polite, contributing to an overall enjoyable stay. The location, though a bit out of the way from central areas, provided easy access to London and felt safe in a tranquil neighborhood near the DLR station. However, the dining experience fell short of expectations, with cold and subpar food, even though the surroundings and the hotel's decor were pleasant. The price was reasonable, but I had anticipated a higher standard of cooked food. Facilities were satisfactory, and the Thai dishes were a highlight despite some disappointments with breakfast options.
